El Menjador
Only six tables make up this exclusive and intimate space where Xavier Pellicer and his team present their most personal dishes. It is an ideal space for more private celebrations, whatever the occasion.
From El Menjador’s lounge you can see the open kitchen, where the diner will be able to see how the dishes are prepared prior to tasting – 100% enjoying the gastronomic experience
Three exclusive menus
El Menjador offers three more exclusive menus, by capacity and type of offer, to its customers: vegan, vegetarian and omnivorous. "In the case of the omnivorous menu, animal protein never exceeds 30% of the total dish."
These menus are composed of 9 tasting dishes, based around seasonal products with creations inspired by the natural world.
The tasting menus are prepared based on fresh, seasonal products.
The Cellar
Pellicer is committed to a biodynamic, ecological and natural wine list, made up of around 100 world references, which he has selected together with the sommelier, restaurant manager and long-time collaborator Albert Pérez Esteban.
Interior Design
Carla Casanova has designed this space, achieving an atmosphere of comfort to enjoy the pleasure of this experience.
Warmth, wood, stone and sober lighting give this space a special energy.
"When Xavier and Mercè asked me to help them with the creation of the environments for the Xavier Pellicer and El Mejador restaurants it was a great challenge ..... The biggest challenge was El Menjador: in addition to playing with the same noble materials, it was about making it more intimate, calm and cosy, a space where you can enjoy the pleasure of a good meal with the five senses. Here we choose to use more full-bodied wood, with more presence, such as walnut wood, leaving the structural stone as a reminder of a building with character."
